What motivated you to become a Naturopath?
I solved my own health issues and then wanted to learn more to help others achieve similar results. It’s still the same nowadays.
What modalities do you use in your practice? Have they changed over time?
I use herbal medicine; diet and lifestyle advice; Homeopathy; Iridology and flower essences. I’m still on my initial learning curve!
Do you have a vision for Naturopathy in Australia?
I want to see Naturopathy more well known and widely used, and a more health conscious Australia!
What are your interests besides Naturopathy?
Learning, reading, puzzles (word and jigsaw varieties), prayer, science fiction.
What words of wisdom would you share with a new graduate Naturopath?
You don’t have to feel 100% prepared before you get started in practice. A lot of the setting up stuff falls into place once you are underway. Sure, you don’t feel like you know enough, but learning as you go is more fun than university and the learning will stick better anyway when dealing with real people!
