CBHS provider recognition Criteria
CBHS will be reintroducing health insurance benefits for the following therapies, effective 1 April 2026:
- Alexander technique
- Naturopathy
- Western herbal medicine
- Shiatsu
- Yoga
- Pilates

Naturopathy Rebates for ANPA Naturopaths
On the 1st of April 2019, the Extras rebates for naturopathy consultations was removed. There are no rebates for naturopathy consultations. The second Natural Therapies review is in process. We hope that this review will be the prelude to rebates being re-instated for the naturopathy profession.
Massage Therapy Rebates for ANPA Naturopaths
Massage Therapy Rebates are only for ANPA member naturopaths who have the additional massage qualifications, rather than primary massage therapists.
